I purchased this hub new and had the wheel built up from all new parts. I have put a total of 30 miles on paved and dirt roads around my home in the Colorado mountains over the last month. It is in excellent condition. While photographing the wheel I did notice that the rim has a zinger in one of the braking walls. I believe it happened when it was shipped to me and I did not notice it until now. It has no effect on mounting up a tubed tire but it is there, and documented in the photos below. I have ridden singlespeed for the last 3 years and in a moment of weakness I thought this would work out for me but I just don’t like the feel of gears at this point in my life. If you have Paragon Sliders this is a plug and play setup. Other dropouts will require a small part or two depending on what you have, chain tensioner, torque bar etc. (this won’t be a lot of cash). Harris Cycles carries all the necessary parts. The bike in the last photograph is not included, shown only for a reference to a Paragon Slider setup.

*NOTE: This is a 29” wheel, it will not fit on a bike designed for a 26” wheel.
