content=Here's to the restaurants willing to acknowledge what we all know is true: That eye candy can be part of a healthy, low-cal, low-carb diet. Sure, it's a little cheesy to dine somewhere just because the staff is hot, but we're not gonna blame you if you like a little sweet thing to accompany your meal.
Our one requirement for this list of spots that bring out our humanity? They have to also bring out good food.
Maybe it's the water up there, but something makes the staff at The Kitchen (1039 Pearl St., Boulder) appear so, well, healthy. These folks aren't only cute: They're classy and make you want to linger.
The ingredients are the only thing allowed to get fresh at Potager (1109 Ogden St.), but the customers are tempted. We'll just say it's more than the excellent pours that encourage guys and gals to camp out at the bar. Same can be said for Aix (719 E. 17th Ave.) Let's just say it about Mezcal (3230 E. Colfax Ave.) since we're already saying it.
Dining on multiple courses of small plates at the The 9th Door (1808 Blake St.) keeps the sexy servers coming back again and again. More small plates, please. Of course, you can't pull that one at trendy Lime (1424 Larimer St.) where the portions, and the folks who bring them to you, are ample in every way.
As for award-winning hot, it's hard to find a place more credentialed than La Fogata (5670 E. Evans Ave.; 8090 East Quincy Ave.), the only eatery that boasts an actual reigning beauty queen, Jacqueline Madera, Miss Colorado USA, on staff.
Of course, there's always Hooters (several locations, look for tasteful orange sign) if trampy outfits and grown women who still go by "girls" matter more than what's on the menu. But the same rule applies to all these places: If you're going to stare, you better tip big.
